INTERNATIONAL HORROR FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES DISTRIBUTION PARTNERSHIP WITH TERROR FILMS

Terror Films has partnered with the IHFF as an official distributor

NEW YORK, NY, May 12, 2016 -- Terror Films has partnered with the International Horror Film Festival (IHFF) as an official distributor for the festival. The alliance with the distributor will guarantee that all original feature length horror films accepted by the film festival will be reviewed by the creative team at Terror Films for World Wide Distribution consideration.

Terror Films is a World Wide Distribution label with a focus on horror, sci-fi and thriller films targeted for release in limited theatrical, television and all major ancillary markets. Their first film THE CHOSEN, starring YouTube Sensation Kian Lawley, remained in the Top 100 of Horror on iTunes for 8 consecutive weeks upon its release. Their second film TRACE opened exclusively on Redbox on October 27, 2015. Terror Films recently announced the acquisition of the documentary UNEARTHED & UNTOLD: THE PATH TO PET SEMATARY, HELL HOUSE LLC, HOUSE OF PURGATORY, THE DARK STRANGER, GODDESS OF LOVE and their original anthology, PATIENT SEVEN featuring Michael Ironside, Jack Plotnick, Grace Van Dien, Amy Smart and Alfie Allen, as part of their 2016 slate.

The IHFF, to be held October 21-27, 2016 at NYC's Cinema Village, is a world class event honoring the best in American and international horror filmmaking. As part of this year's festival, the IHFF will be honoring the legacy of horror icon Wes Craven (A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Last House on the Left, Scream), featuring an appearance by Mr. Craven's widow, Iya Labunka. The festival will also feature a special screening of The Monster Squad with appearances by cast members Duncan Regehr (Count Dracula) and Tom Noonan (Frankenstein's Monster) as well as the NY premiere of The Butcher Brothers' A Beginner's Guide to Snuff, among numerous other events to be announced.
